Making Math Fun: Strategies, Tips, & Tricks

Math can be a difficult subject in which to engage students. Participants will learn about evidence-based practices including programs, strategies, interventions, technologies, and games to implement in their classrooms. Resources will be provided and participants will engage in activites to reinforce concepts.

Math Interventions

Math can be a difficult subject for students. Participants will learn about evidence-based practices to help struggling math learners build their conceptual understanding and gain an understanding of how to use the MTSS/RTI frameworks to address student learning gaps in math through assessments. Educators will learn how to improve math instruction at the Tier 1 level along with strategies to provide evidence-based interventions at Tier 2 and 3. Ready-to-use resources will be provided.
